Celebrating Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles, Our Own partnered with NFL 360 to produce “Ode To South Central.” This short was featured to open the Super Bowl LVI telecast which was viewed by over 99M viewers. Award-winning actor Anthony Anderson delivers a tribute to his hometown and the iconic neighborhood hosting Super Bowl LVI.

The multi-day shoot took place across Los Angeles, with Our Own providing key support throughout the project, notably securing much of the cast featured in the short. The goal was to cast individuals who authentically represented the community, capturing the essence of Los Angeles across its past, present, and future. Directed by Julian Gooden, Ode to South Central earned multiple award nominations, including two Emmy wins.
