This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used, and disclosed by Our Own ("Our Own," "we" or "us"). This Policy applies to information we collect when you use our website, mobile sites, and other online services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Sites"), as well as when you otherwise interact with us, such as by participating in our programs, making a donation, or attending our events.
We may change this Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the bottom of the Policy and, in some cases, we may provide additional notice such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you an email. We encourage you to review this Policy whenever you access the Sites to stay informed about our information practices.
Collection of Information
Information You Provide to Us
We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, we collect information when you sign up to receive email updates, make a donation, fill out a form, participate in one of our programs, attend an event, communicate with us via social media, or otherwise contact us. The types of information we may collect include your name, email address, postal address, phone number, payment information (processed by a third-party payment processor), donation history, and any other information you choose to provide.
For participants in Our Own programs, we may also collect registration information, parent or guardian consent forms, emergency contact information, and information related to program participation.
Information We Collect Automatically
When you access or use our Sites, we automatically collect certain information, including log information (such as browser type, access times, pages viewed, IP address, and referring URL), device information (such as hardware model, operating system, and device identifiers), and information collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies that help us improve our Sites and your experience.

Protecting Youth Privacy
Because Our Own serves young people through our school-based wellness programs, we are committed to protecting the privacy of minors. We obtain parent or guardian consent before collecting personal information from children under 13 in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not share identifiable information about youth participants without explicit consent from parents or guardians. Photos, videos, and stories featuring young people are shared only with appropriate permissions.
Disclosure of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information about you in the following circumstances: with vendors, service providers, and partners who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf, such as payment processing, email delivery, and analytics; with partner schools for program coordination purposes; in response to a request for information if we believe disclosure is required by law or legal process; if we believe your actions are inconsistent with our policies or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Our Own or others; and with your consent or at your direction.
We may also share aggregated or anonymized information that does not directly identify you.
Social Sharing Features
The Sites may offer social sharing features that let you share actions you take on our Sites with other platforms. The use of such features enables sharing of information with your connections or the public, depending on your settings with those platforms.
