2026 OUR OWN SCHOLARSHIP
We are proud to announce our annual, OUR OWN Scholarship. This year, Our Own will award over $50,000 in scholarships to
multiple graduating high school seniors, with individual awards up to $5,000.
This scholarship goes beyond financial support. Recipients will be invited into the Our Own ecosystem of support, including fellowships, internships, mental health support, and workshops designed to support both personal growth and long term success.
The deadline for application submission is Monday, April 20th, 2026 at 5:00pm PST
*Applicants selected as finalists will be required to participate in a virtual or in-person interview prior to final selection.
Eligibility & Requirements
Applicants must:
| Be a graduating high school senior.
| Be currently attending high school within Los Angeles County.
| Demonstrate a commitment to personal growth and leadership.
| Be planning to attend a form of post-secondary education (trade schools included).
| Submit a completed application, including all required short response questions.
Optional:
| A letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, mentor, or community leader.
| A list of schools you have been accepted to.
