Vibrate Higher was the mental health moment we hosted for FREE for the entire Los Angeles community. Our Own saw an opportunity to shift an entire community with a collective moment of restoration and opportunity to build mental health resiliency.

Yes, Our Own a non-profit was one of the first organizations to rent out the brand new SoFi Stadium. It started as an internal conversation amongst the team.We advocated for the space from current partners and pitched several potential brands and got no where. So we took a different approach. We decided to do it ourselves. Our Own covered the cost of the entire stadium, backline, food & beverages along with covering cost of our trauma informed practitioners. One of our then partners Actively Black donated yoga mats valued at $10,000 for the 500+ attendees. We ushered in the community on the field for a once in a lifetime mental health experience.

Our Own pioneered a community moment that was meant and did inspire Los Angeles and the Inglewood community. Vibrate Higher was a moment where innovation met the needs of community and it sparked wellness movement throughout the city. It led Our Own to create a one of a kind Wellness Center in the heart of Inglewood. The single space catapulted the Wellness Space concept to 8 spaces across multiple school districts implementing curriculum and supporting over1,500 students on campus daily each week with consistent trauma-informed programming.
